Similarly, Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, the great revolutionary of India, was born on July 6, 1901 in a very elite family. His father's name was Ashutosh Babu. Who was a famous educationist of his time.

2. Education - It is said that the feet of the son are visible only in the cradle. Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee was very brilliant since childhood. He obtained the degree of Master of Art (M.A.) only at the age of 22. You were married to Sudha Devi. After marriage, Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee had 4 children, in whom two sons and two daughters were there. Rich in prodigious talent, Dr. Mukherjee was appointed a member of the Senate at Calcutta University at the age of just 24. In Calcutta University, he took many steps in the interest of the students. Dr. Mukherjee had a special attachment to the subject of mathematics since childhood. He went abroad for higher education in mathematics and continued his studies there. In view of his contribution to the subject of mathematics, the London Mathematical Society appointed Dr. Mukherjee as its member.

3. Career- After doing remarkable work in mathematics from London, you returned to your country India and you got involved in university and advocacy work. Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, rich in versatility, wanted to do something different for the society. This is the reason why you joined politics in the year 1939 for social service and upliftment of the poor and kept on raising the voice of the country and the poor people throughout your life. Dr. Mukherjee was a very forthright politician and he always worked in the interest of the country. On some issues, you also opposed the policies of Mahatma Gandhi and the Congress Party which were not in the interest of the country. That is why it is said that whether Dr. Mukherjee got the pleasure of power or not, he always took decisions in the interest of the country.

4. Political Controversy -Dr. Mukherjee was against the non-violence policy of Mahatma Gandhi. This is the reason why once he had clearly said that "the day is not far when the whole of Bengal will become Pakistan's jurisdiction as a result of blindly following Mahatma Gandhi's non-violent policy". Dr. Mukherjee always opposed the appeasement policy of Mahatma Gandhi and Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru from every platform and openly opposed such policies of the Congress party which were not in the interest of the country. This is the reason why the Muslim class started considering Dr. Mukherjee as a leader with a narrow ideology.

5. Work on the post of Finance Minister - On August 15, 1947, when India became free from the clutches of the British, Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee was assigned the task of Finance Minister in the first cabinet of independent India in August 1947, which was a He was a non-Congress leader. This shows his popularity in all parties. As the Finance Minister, you did many things related to the progress of the country. For example, in a backward state like Bihar, you got a fertilizer factory established. At the same time, he also established a rail factory in Chittaranjan for the development of the rail network in the country. Apart from this, setting up a shipbuilding factory in Visakhapatnam was the result of his far-reaching thinking. Due to the tireless efforts of Dr. Mukherjee, Hyderabad Nizam was forced to merge his princely state with India.

6. Struggle for the merger of Kashmir in India - After independence, in 1950, the economic condition of the country was considerable. All this was not seen from Dr. Mukherjee. As a result, you got angry with the non-violent policies of the Government of India and resigned from the cabinet. That is why it is said that Dr. Mukherjee had no greed for power. After resigning from the Union Cabinet, you were now in the role of an active opposition who bitterly criticized every wrong decision of the government. Dr. Mukherjee always wanted that there should be one flag, one symbol in the whole country. This is the reason why he was very worried about Kashmir because he did not accept two flags and two symbols in the same country. That's why they started their efforts for the complete merger of Kashmir in India and started a mass movement for the merger of Kashmir in India. In this work, you also took the cooperation of the Praja Parishad party of Jammu.

On May 8, 1953, along with leaders like Atal Bihari Vajpayee (who was the country's foreign minister at that time), Dr. Burman and Vaidya Guru Dutt etc., you left for Jammu regarding Kashmir's merger with India. As soon as you entered Jammu, you were taken into custody by the Jammu government at the border. And he was locked up in Jammu jail.

7. Death - You remain in jail for 40 days and continue to give edge to the movement from inside the jail regarding the merger of Kashmir with India. Dr. Mukherjee died on June 23, 1953 under suspicious circumstances in the jail itself.
