एमपी बोर्ड कक्षा आठवीं के वार्षिक पेपर में 10 ऑब्जेक्टिव प्रश्न, 10 लघु उत्तरीय प्रश्न और 4 दीर्घ उत्तरीय प्रश्न होंगे। समस्त विद्यार्थियों को परीक्षा में 60 पूर्णांक में से 10 अंक Objective questions के, 30 अंक Short Answer type questions के, 20 अंक Long Answer type questions के दिए जाएंगे। प्रत्येक पेपर में 20 अंको का प्रोजेक्ट कार्य लिया जाएगा। समस्त परीक्षार्थियों को सही उत्तर पर Objective questions में 1 अंक, Short Answer type questions में 3 अंक एवं Long Answer type questions में 5 अंक मिलेंगे। ऐसा एमपी बोर्ड द्वारा निर्धारित है।
