Subject: Supply for proper drinking water.


 Sir,


       Hereby this letter I want to draw your kind attention about the condition of water supply in this area. The water pipelines and sewer pipelines were laid out nearly one hun dred years ago. Some of its points intersect one another. The water coming out from these pipes gives foul smell. It seems that there is some leakage in the pipes. Since last week the drinking water supplied to our colony seems to be polluted. I am sending the sample of contaminated water for analysis at the government laboratory.


It is noticable that polluted water is patently harmful to the health and well-being of the citizens. I, therefore, request you to lodge a complaint against it and to give an order for immediate checking the pipelines. Also, you are requested to maintain the water supply in the area twice a day through water tanker till the water supply is restored.


 Hope to be activated in the benevolent circumstances.
